Modern Slavery Statement (“MSS”)

Introduction

Vedra Digital is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. We believe every person has the right to work freely, safely, and with dignity. This statement outlines the steps we take to identify, prevent and address any risks of modern slavery across our operations.

Our Business
Vedra Digital is a UK based digital consultancy specialising in discovery, service design, digital transformation, AI capability and agile delivery for public sector organisations. We operate with a small, highly skilled team and work in partnership with trusted suppliers when specialist expertise is required. The nature of our work means we are generally considered low risk for modern slavery, but we remain committed to maintaining high standards of ethical practice.

Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is primarily made up of:

  • Independent contractors and specialist consultants

  • Professional service providers

  • Technology and software suppliers

We expect all partners and suppliers to uphold the same ethical values as we do. Where relevant, we review their policies, statements and compliance measures relating to labour standards and modern slavery.

Our Policies and Commitments
We maintain the following principles across our business:

  • Zero tolerance for forced labour, human trafficking or exploitation in any form

  • Fair and transparent recruitment practices

  • Clear expectations for suppliers and contractors to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015

  • A commitment to work only with organisations that share our values

  • A culture where concerns can be raised safely and addressed promptly

Risk Management
Although the overall risk within our industry is low, we remain vigilant. We monitor potential risks by:

  • Reviewing new suppliers before onboarding

  • Ensuring all contractors work voluntarily and on fair, transparent terms

  • Maintaining open lines of communication with our delivery partners

  • Periodically reviewing internal processes to ensure continued compliance

Training and Awareness
We raise awareness of modern slavery risks within our team by:

  • Sharing guidance on recognising signs of exploitation

  • Ensuring those involved in procurement understand their responsibilities

  • Encouraging an open culture where concerns can be raised without fear

Reporting Concerns
Vedra Digital is committed to addressing any concerns quickly and responsibly. Anyone working with or for us is encouraged to report suspected exploitation or unethical behaviour. Reports can be raised confidentially and will be taken seriously.

Continuous Improvement
We recognise that preventing modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. We will continue to review our policies, deepen our understanding of potential risks, and strengthen our approach in line with best practice.

Approval
This statement has been approved by the leadership of Vedra Digital and will be reviewed annually.
